Except in limited circumstances, Northwestern Mutual financial representatives are required to offer Northwestern Mutual insurance and annuity products. The commissions, benefits and other sales compensation Northwestern Mutual financial representatives receive for the sale of Northwestern Mutual insurance and annuity products might be more than for the sale of a comparable product from a different company. Northwestern Mutual financial representatives who meet certain productivity, persistency and length of service standards and/or their managers may be eligible for additional compensation and benefits. For example, financial representatives who meet certain annual sales production levels with respect to their sales of Northwestern Mutual insurance and annuity products qualify to receive additional cash compensation for their other sales of investment products and services.
