Since 1857 Northwestern Mutual has been privileged to serve policyowners at the most personal level. We listen to their fears and help manage their risks. We pay attention to their dreams and help protect their futures. We take enormous pride in making a difference in people's lives.
Policyowners come first at Northwestern Mutualas they have for over seven generations now. Being a mutual company, rather than a publicly traded corporation, we can fix our sights on their long-term needs rather than short-term quarterly earnings. We can afford to be patient on their behalf without bending to the whims of the marketplace.
The people of Northwestern Mutual are guided by this long-term vision. Our company's culture is built around the belief that every decision we make reflects our commitment to doing the right thing for our policyowners.
That commitment has repeatedly earned us the respect of our peers. For more than two decades, we've been named the most admired company in our industry by Fortune magazine. Our consistent position at the top of Fortune's survey is unmatched by any other company.
I invite you to learn more about Northwestern Mutual by talking to one of our financial representatives or asking any of our employees to explain how their job makes a difference in people's lives. It would be our privilege to make a difference in your life.
