HDL Cholesterol
HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol is a specific protein-cholesterol combination. Also known as "good cholesterol," elevation decreases the risk for atherosclerosis (fat accumulation in the walls of arteries).

Hemoglobin A1C
Hemoglobin A1C (glycohemoglobin) is a form of hemoglobin used to indicate the average blood glucose for the preceding 6 to 12 weeks.

Historical Performance 

The rates of return achieved in the past on a particular savings or investment vehicle.

Home Page 

A web site's first screen, or the Internet address chosen as the opening page in a browser.

Human Life Value 

An estimate of the financial loss caused by a person's death using the present value of future earnings. The concept was developed by Solomon Huebner in the 1930s.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 

Enables a conversation between browsers and servers to take place according to the hypertext transfer protocol, or HTTP.
