The Portfolio invests in a representative sample of stocks included in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index, and in futures whose performance is related to the index, instead of copying the index. The Portfolio may also invest in exchange traded funds in an attempt to gain exposure to the market while awaiting the purchase of underlying securities. The Portfolio's goal is to have investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. |
