Investment Strategy:

The Aggressive Equity Fund invests primarily in common stocks of small and medium capitalization companies, most of which are U.S. based. While market capitalization changes over time and there is not one universally accepted definition of the lines between large, medium and small capitalization companies, the Fund generally defines large capitalization stocks as stocks of the largest 200 companies in the U.S., medium capitalization stocks as stocks of the next largest 800 companies in the U.S. and small capitalization stocks as stocks of the next 2000 largest companies in the U.S. The Fund's investments may include companies that have been publicly traded for less than five years and smaller companies, such as companies not listed in the Russell 2000® Index.

The Fund employs "multi-style, multi-manager" approach whereby portions of the Fund are allocated to different money managers who employ distinct investment styles. The Fund uses three principal investment styles intended to complement one another: a Growth Style, a Value Style and a Market-Oriented Style. The Fund intends to be fully invested at all times.

You should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, expenses and charges of the investment company before you invest. Your Northwestern Mutual Investment Services Registered Representative can provide you with a contract and fund prospectus that will contain the information noted above, and other important information that you should read carefully before you invest or send money.
